Principal Kawalek announced Ms. Tracy Radler as Lore Elementary School’s Educator of the Year for 2019!

Ms. Radler was described by parents, staff and students as inspiring, gracious, dedicated beyond words.

Ms. Radler was hired by the district in 1993 and is going on her 26th year at Lore Elementary School as a Physical Education teacher.  Ms. Radler started her educational career at Lore Elementary School and then went to Parkway, only to return to Lore.  Ms. Radler graduated from The College of New Jersey with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and holds her certificate in Health and Physical Education.  Ms. Radler continued her education journey at Thomas Edison State University and received her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership graduated Summa Cum Laude and holds her principal’s certification.

The Ewing Schools have implemented many programs that promote a positive school culture.  The district has put in place a focus on the mental and emotional health of our students.  Ms. Radler holds her Yoga Teacher Certification for Children and Families and her Mindfulness in Schools Teacher Certification which are used daily in her instruction to the students at Lore School.  She also is a certified and licensed in Emergency Car and a First Responder.

“Ms. Radler goes above and beyond her job description. She engages students and makes them want to come to school,” Lore Principal Kelly Kawalek remarked.  “She gets to know her students and talks to them about how the lessons they learn in school can help them to become better individuals and citizens outside of school. She is an excellent representative of Lore School as our Teacher of the Year.”
